The DEANNA System is currently being developed with the Forensic Science Laboratory, Tayside Police Scotland, to implement the Scottish Forensic DNA Database. The database is already being successfully used to search and process DNA profiles for criminal investigations. High profile cases have already been solved as a direct result of the system. The system is directly interfaced to ABI Perkin Elmer GeneScanners and accepts Genotyper analyses for automatic processing. |
