The application uses a number of 'merchandisiers' to check and update stock at many hundreds of shops. Shop stock levels are checked and entered into the computer. This latter actions was manual and is now automated with the use of portable data capture units (scanners) The computer checks stock levels and issues a picking note for restocking the shop. After satisfactory stock update it produces customer invoices based on the picking note/delivery note. It also re-orders warehouse stock. Produces special delivery/Invoice paperwork for seasonal goods, and produces uplift notes for the returned goods. It includes all the normal accounting functions and has been linked with EDI software for electronic transfer of Invoices |
